Last season’s Fun Cup runner-up siblings, Zoe and Guy Wenham, have announced their return for 2015, partnering championship hot shot Stephen Johansen.

Zoe Wenham, race winner in British GT4 and younger brother Guy, who was Saxmax champion in 2013, entered the championship in 2014 along with Tom Pattle. The trio took two podiums, plus multiple top five results to secure 2nd place in the standings.

With Pattle side-lined by university studies, a new hot-shoe driver was required to take the championship battle to three times champions, Racelogic.

Stephen Johansen has raced in the highly competitive endurance championship for seven seasons, with a highlight result of 2nd place in the 2012 standings. Johansen’s knowledge of the Fun Cup car and set up was another enticing factor for the Wenhams. 2015 will also see the team move to a JPR prepared and run car.

Speaking ahead of the first test of the season at Silverstone tomorrow, Johansen said: “I’m excited by the prospect of racing alongside Zoe and Guy this year, after they demonstrated their pace and consistency, in 2014. I’m hoping my experience of the cars will add to the overall package and I’m looking forward to a long season, which totals up to 29 hours of closely fought racing in identical cars”.
