Another new team join the grid for 2025 as the Balfe Motorsport father and son team of Shaun & Tom Balfe enter the championship

The pacey duo have competed in GT3, GT4 and Historic racing machinery, gaining race wins and podiums along the way as well as various lap records.

Having joined one of our taster days at Donington Park earlier this year the Balfe Motorsport team cannot wait to get going..

Shaun Balfe:
“After a successful spontaneous taster day at Donington Park on a cold February in a Fun Cup car we have found ourselves surrounded in the paddock by some great similar minded people, and looking forward to some close races, making new friends and most importantly having some fun with my son Tom.”

Tom Balfe:
“I’m excited to be competing within the championship this year alongside my dad. Such amazing racing amongst the drivers here and I’m sure Shaun and I are ready to push each other to achieve the best we can throughout the year.”Winning Balfe pair

Competing in car 62, under the name of Balfe Motorsport, run by Track Focused, these guys will certainly be a team to watch in 2025!

Championship Coordinator Kristian Rose commented:

“It’s great to have another father son team on the grid. They’re obviously experienced drivers and they got on really well with the cars on our taster day at Donington Park. Shaun has recently tasted success having won the GT3 Silver AM class in British GT, so I am sure they will be a team to watch in the championship this year.”
