Fun Cup is delighted to announce that racers Will Chappell & Andrew Clarkson will be joining the fun & competing in the 2018 championship.

The duo, who previously ran & supported entries in the Westfield Sporstcar, Mazda MX5 M1’s & the Mazda MX5 MK3 Supercup Championships, now own cars 246 & 108.

They hope to hire one of their Fun Cup’s whilst pairing up to compete in the other.

Team Manager, Will Chappell, said: “We are really looking forward to getting out for the start of the 2018 season, after a year on the side-lines preparing. Although we have no endurance experience, both Andrew and myself have both been regular front runners in the Mazda MX5 Supercup. Andrew was even the champion a few years ago.”

He added: “We are under no illusion about the learning curve we have ahead of us. But, we will be out testing by the end of the month & will be doing pitstop practice until April 7th! Both our cars have fresh engines, gearboxes and electrical components. So, we are hoping for good reliability from the off. It would be lovely to achieve a podium in our maiden season, but we know we have our work cut out”.
